Evelyn F. McKnight Chair for Learning and Memory in Aging
Induction Ceremony
Carol A. Barnes, Ph.D., Regents' Professor at the University of Arizona and Director of the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute was inducted as the first Evelyn F. McKnight Chair for Learning and Memory in Aging at a ceremony at the Arizona Health Sciences Center on December 11, 2006. Dr. Barnes' presentation included her vision of the promising research which will be undertaken in the newly established Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute at the University of Arizona.

The event was attended by the Trustees of the McKnight Brain Research Foundation, as well as top officials from the State of Arizona, the University of Arizona and numerous faculty, students and staff.
McKnight faculty member Dr. Bruce McNaughton, Trustees Dr. John Clarkson and Dr. Michael Dockery, and Mr. and Mrs. Raattama congratulate Dr. Carol Barnes at the conclusion of the ceremony.
